Notes: Come and take part in the 3rd Karioi Classic 46km mountain bike ride on Sunday 29th July 2012. The race starts at Raglan Fire Station in Wainui Raod and finishes at the Kopua Reserve. The route itself takes riders around beautiful Mt Karioi, with breathtaking views of Raglan, Aotea harbour, Mt Taranaki and the famous surf break at Manu Bay. There are winding uphill climbs on gravel roads, and speedy downhills. Spectators and supporters can also enjoy the race, a little more leisurely, shopping, nice food, great coffee and a beach walk. New this year : die hards can go around the mountain twice and we are also having a Karioi Classic Retro Style, only open for riders with bikes pre 1980.
